A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Welcome to America’s premier and foremost co-ed professional business
fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi! The Lambda Phi chapter of Delta Sigma Pi was
founded on May 14, 1988. With over 700 members initiated, we provide our brothers with networking opportunities by connecting them through our vast alumni network and growing their careers professionally. Our chapter is committed to helping brothers develop their professional skills, fostering brotherhood, creating new bonds, and giving back to our community.
In Spring of 2022, I joined Delta Sigma Pi as a freshman when I was trying to find an organization that would help me grow and prepare me for life after college. I wanted to find a like-minded group of people that had the same ambitious mindset as me, but also could give me guidance on how they navigate through my personal and professional life. Being in this fraternity, I’ve accomplished all that I have set out to and more. My fellow brothers hold themselves to the highest standards of our four pillars: Scholarship, Philanthropy, Professionalism, and Brotherhood. Many of the goals that I set for myself in college would not have been achieved without the help of this community at Long Beach.
I am honored to be a member of this distinguished fraternity at CSULB and excited to serve as the President of the Lambda Phi chapter for this upcoming academic school year. If you choose to go through recruitment, know that Delta Sigma Pi goes past your collegiate career, it is for life!
Fraternally,
Ava Balguer
